Sezona se bliža, oprema pa bo kmlau na voljo. Da, govorimo o race kajtanju. Pri North Kiteboardingu bodo race opremo letos izdelali v eni sami seriji, zato se splača z naročilom pohiteti.
Vse, ki bi želeli letos tekmovati z North kajti in deskami (North Dyno kajt in Race LTD deska) prosimo, da svoje naročilo za opremo oddajo najkasneje do 8. februarja (petek). Kasneje dobave ne bomo mogli zagotoviti.

Ker je race oprema zelo specifična in komercialno ne preveč zanimiva, za cene preverite v Surfshopu, kjer vsako žaljo obravnavamo “case-by-case”.
North Dyno 2013
NORTH DYNO 2013 SIZING: 7/9/11/13/15/17
Low weight is a key feature of the Dyno, as it is essential for handling and performance in lightwind. For that reason, in 2013 all measures have been taken to strip out all materials that do not contribute to on-water performance.
Struts and Segmentation:
Beginning with the struts, the Dyno 2013 has only 5 struts instead of 7 to gain more flexibility and lowest possible weight. The tip strut is closer to the tip to support the thin leading edge and to provide stability during hard turning. Owing to the fewer struts and lower weight, turning speed has been improved. This is most noticeable when flying the Dyno up and down on a deep downwind point of sail. The new Dyno has a slightly different geometry as it has more segments. This helps to ensure good fidelity to design and shape.
New Bridle:
New about the bridle is that it has no pulleys, which gives a bit less weight and drag but also means that the 2013 Dyno must be flown irrespective of size and power on a 5th Ele- ment bar to guarantee full safety.
The new Dyno, especially the sizes 13, 15 and 17 has significantly more power compared to the 2012 generation, owing to a deeper more draft forward profile and a large span between quarter and center struts, which provides the bulk of the power of the kite. This area is not heavily controlled with struts as it needs to be free to luff or fill, Availability: depending on wind strength. The more flexible structure of the kite helps to relaunch the kite quickly.
The lower weight, deeper profiles and the new geometry make the Dyno also a great freeride kite in light winds and to boost big airs.
A kite designed to win races and to be the first one on the water even in the lightest wind.
Race Bar 2013
The brand new racebar is based on the Fifth Element system and has a 4:1 depower rigging with a modified Clamcleat for easy sheeting.
Furthermore it is equipped with the new SK 90 NKB rac- ing lines, which are thinner than regular NKB flying lines and therefore reduce the weight at 20%.
The racebar is available in 3 different length: 24m / 27m / 30m
Race Limited 69’

The 2013 Race Limited 69’ is a full carbon sandwich construction with an automatic pressure release valve. The dimensions of the board have changed slightly compared to the 2012 model (see below).

The Race 69’ improved in comfort of riding and enables easier reaching and jibing compared to the 2012 edition. Moreover the upwind performance also improved due to our enigneers fine-tuning.
The Race 69’ is built and registered to the IKA Box Rule and legal to race March 23, 2013.
The board is delivered without fins.
